FaceTarget

Registered in this checkout as EQ2Emu_lua_FaceTarget; implementation found at WorldServer/Lua/LuaFunctions.cpp:1476.

Historical signature: FaceTarget(spawn, target, reset_action_state)

Parameter and behavior details in the historical explanation are under review against the current implementation.

Function: FaceTarget(spawn, target, reset_action_state)

Description: The spawn will be forced to face the target. The reset_action_state is true by default, unless otherwise specified as false, then the FaceTarget may not be honored if the Spawn is doing another activity.

Parameters:

  • spawn (Spawn) - Spawn object representing spawn.
  • target (Spawn) - Spawn object representing target.
  • reset_action_state (bool) - Boolean flag reset_action_state.

Returns: None.

Checked example

Active call in a local runtime Lua script. The reset-action-state flag defaults to true. The binding also handles arguments dynamically. This is a contextual call pattern, not a tested standalone script.
